Workshop w/Alyn Carlson
Friday, May 11, from 7:30pm-10pm
Join paper artist Alyn Carlson for a fun evening of paper flower making. You can bring your own materials, or use the crepe, tissue, and treasure's from Alyn's recycling bin to create a bouquet so pretty you'll swear you can smell it. Hot glue guns will be used so teen and adults participation only.
You are encouraged to bring any packing material, cereal boxes, wrapping paper, stamps, tinfoil, greeting cards, packaging, fruit, candy, gum wrappers, cupcake liners, ribbon, sticky notes, envelopes, shopping catalogues, IRS bills and anything you can find that can be folded, curled and hot glued.
ALYN CARLSON, A NEW ENGLAND-BASED PAINTER, author, graphic designer, performer and paper artist. Her book, The Paper Hat Book, a how-to book for adults and children, features her designs made from recycled materials and ephemera.
